In realm of England, might was right. Those with power set the laws of the kingdom and justified acts of war by saying they would prevent greater bloodshed. Now King Arthur has succeeded to the throne of England, and in a desperate endeavor to bring peace to the land scarred by his father's tyranny, he established the order of the knights of the round table. Kings, queens, and nobility from all over the world are being drawn into the feud between the English and the Gaels. As he struggles to subdue the Orkney clan and Scottish rebels without violence, Arthur's followers begin a confusing and tumultuous campaign to bring peace to their country.
